Regarding the COVID-19 Corona Virus

The Market WILL be Opening on April 25th with a "Soft Opening"

Since this is a fluid situation, things may change (and seem to every day!) As of today, this is what we know.

With the Governor's Stay at Home Order, farmer's markets have been identified as essential businesses and are allowed to operate within certain guidelines. 

The Nampa Farmers Market is moving forward with what we are calling a "Soft Opening" featuring our Food, Ag, Produce and Soap vendors. 

While we are not able to have our wonderful craft vendors join us yet, the Nampa Farmers Market will be there in these difficult times to provide families with healthy food options that are locally grown and produced.

What will this look like? 

The market will enact certain safety precautions.

A larger space will be left between booths.

Vendors will be set up around the stage area to be close as possible to the restrooms.

There will be no musician, or other entertainment.

There will be no community seating.

Customers are encouraged to leave 6 feet of space between each other at all times and especially at the booths.

There will be market hand washing stations available as well as other safety supplies.
We ask that customers do not touch or handle items for sale.

No one who is feeling sick should be at the market, this will be strictly enforced.

Vendors will use gloves where appropriate.

Vendors will give extra attention to cleanliness in their booths.

The Nampa Farmers Market will operate this way until the Governor's Stay at Home Order is lifted.  At that time, we will be back with our full line of vendors, and will have our official Grand Opening.  Stay tuned for details.

The Nampa Farmers Market is committed to being a safe place where the local community can gather for fun, food and entertainment.

Rest assured, the Nampa Farmers Market Board of Directors is keeping a close watch on the situation concerning the COVID-19 Corona Virus. 

At this time, we are proceeding with the opening of the Market as planned. 

We will be encouraging all our vendors to abide by sanitary hygiene rules, and all of our food vendors must comply with health codes.  

In addition, we will be giving extra attention to cleaning and maintaining areas that come in contact with the public.

We are excited to begin our 32nd season bringing you the finest local produce and products.  We hope to see you April 25th!
